Our company has a long-standing tradition of dedication to infants and children. In 1985, William Lockett III sought a safe place to place his baby girl Summer while his hands were busy elsewhere. Out of this father’s desire to protect and nurture his sweet baby, the original Bouncy Seat was born and so was our company, Summer Infant.

Fast forward to 2001, at which time Jason Macari, a leader in innovative product development and a father to four young children, made the decision to purchase Summer Infant. With Jason’s experience and passion, a new vision for Summer Infant was created. This vision acknowledged the growing demands on families and emphasized the necessity to create products that encouraged bonding while lessening the stress on parents. 

For the past 26 years, Summer Infant has worked tirelessly to develop the safest and most innovative products that stand the test of time.
